This Webpage is for the newly chartered Post 1971 – Catholic War Veterans starting in Henderson.

Post 1971 will meet at the American Legion Post 40 building at 425 E. Van Wagenen St., Henderson, Nv.

Who can join?

Becoming a member of the Catholic War Veterans or Auxiliary is easy. Whether you are on active duty with at least 90 days of service, a Veteran who has been honorably discharged, or a family member of an active duty service member or veteran, you are welcomed to join our community.

The Role of a Local Post

The Catholic War Veterans (CWV) is a national Veterans Service Organization with it’s headquarters located in Bellerose, NY. Local posts serve as community hubs where members can gather, participate in activities, and support one another.

As a Catholic Veterans organization, our mission is to serve, support, and uphold the values that make our nation and our faith strong. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of veterans, their families, and our communities.

There are VA accredited Service Officers who work at the Henderson Service Office.
