Meetings
Board of Directors Meetings are 1st Thursday of the month at 1200 to 1300 (Army Vets) or (eight bells for Coast Guard and Navy Vets)- (noon for Air Force Vets) (when Mickey’s two hands are pointed straight over his head for our Marine Vets ) at the American Legion Post 40 Hall
General Membership Meetings are 2nd Thursday of the month at 1200 to 1300 at the American Legion Post 40 Hall
“Let’s Do Lunch” Veteran Education Series and free lunch 3nd Thursday of the month at 1200 to 1300 at the American Legion Post 40 Hall

VVA 1076 Service Activities
VVA #1076 participates at the Unaccompanied Veterans Services, which are scheduled on Thursdays as needed. The services begin at 8:40 a.m. inside the chapel at the Southern Nevada Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veteran’s Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV, 89005. Confirmed Thursday’s Services are E-mailed to the membership. Please join us.
Routinely VVA #1076 members participate with mounting approximately 100 American flags on Water Street, Henderson for Veterans dates. Following the Flags going Up or Down undertaking, the crew usually enjoys breakfast at the Pass Casino when the Flags are Up.
Several times a year VVA #1076 members visit with residents at the Southern Nevada State Veterans Home (Boulder City) during various Veterans holidays and events.
